She’s been all sick this week. Her throat’s hurting like a motherfucker and her voice has a quality that’s either froggy or sultry, or both, depending on what turns you on. In previous weeks she hasn’t been sick, but her car broke down spectacularly in the middle of that cold snap that made snivelling pussies out of us all. But she did get a new starter, and she also took apart her entire transmission to dig out the little piece of the broken starter that apparently fell in there. Well, actually, she didn’t take her entire car’s transmission apart herself, she paid some nice person to do it, but it was expensive enough to make her brain tired enough to think she did it single-handedly.
No, she doesn’t know why she is referring to herself in the third person. NyQuil probably has something to do with all ths.
In case you’re feeling sorry for her, remember she did get to see Neil Finn for free. Neil was very good for her sore throat, but it would have felt even better had he played something from the Rain soundtrack.
Wendy really will be back one day and will put up entries in her journal. You do know that, right? She’s just had a lot of other demands such as the Television Without Pity recaps, and her day job, and, oh! she has a piece coming out in BUST and she was working on that for a while, and well, see, she’s just very, very drained. But you’ll see a lot more of her in March.
Oh, were you just wondering when the next High School Reunion is going up? Why aren’t you on the mailing list for that? You should be. Well, it’ll only be two more weeks of the show, but still.
